Kym has a passion and love for her work you see from the very beginning of a project. Whether helping bring life to mobile application ideas through user-focused wireframing and prototyping or delivering engaging websites with a seamless user experience, her pride can be seen in every detail.
She discovered this passion while in college, struggling to find her niche in the world of design. Her search for her place within the craft led her to concentrate on user experience design. She honed her skills to focus on the structure and flow of an app or website, and how each component plays a role in delivering the most engaging experience. With renewed drive and passion, Kym has been shooting for and achieving, brilliance in design ever since.
Kym comes to us from our acquisition of netGalaxy Studios, where she designed websites and mobile apps for the organizations such as the Summerville Visitor’s Bureau, Spiritline Cruises, the Mount Pleasant Chamber of Commerce, Summerville Chamber of Commerce, United States Golf Association (USGA), the Flowertown Festival, and many, many more.
A proud native of Pennsylvania, Kym fondly remembers her home lying among the rolling caps of the Appalachian Mountains. (But one visit to Charleston and she fell in love with the Holy City, moving here to pursue her career.) She graduated from Millersville University in Pennsylvania with a Bachelor’s degree in Art and Design, focusing on Graphic and Interactive Design.
When she’s not crafting those beautiful user experiences for business owners, Kym still holds a passion for color guard, in which she participated in high school and college for seven years, still tossing the flag around in the backyard from time to time. She also enjoys spending time with her boyfriend, James, their dogs, Dakota and Leo, and her family. She loves traveling, gardening, photography, as well as detailing, and driving her Mustang, Robin.
