PATH Foundation believes in these sentiments too, which is why we are so excited to announce our new mobile app for them!
PATH Foundation believes in connecting communities through nature, and they do just that. Since 1991, PATH Foundation has been transforming the landscape of the metropolitan Atlanta area. They have created numerous green spaces, trails, and other outdoor spaces for joggers, cyclists, families, and more.
They wanted all of the information about their spaces and organization to be compiled into one easily accessible and user-friendly app that can be used by the whole community. Our team at Stingray Branding thought this was a great idea, and we quickly set to work on developing an app that provides these resources and stays true to PATH Foundation’s organizational values. Our goal was to make something that could aid the community in Atlanta in the same way PATH Foundation does every day.
PATH Foundation Mobile App Interface
One of the most critical aspects of an app is its interface and how to navigate through it. This is why we spent a lot of time and effort making sure that the PATH Foundation app interface is clean, straightforward, and easy to use.
When you open the app, you are greeted with a homepage that features a background photo of one of the beautiful trails created by PATH Foundation. This immediately shows the user what the app and the company are all about. It also features several tabs to click on and navigate through to find helpful information, frequently asked questions, and so much more!
PATH Foundation Mobile App Features
Another important feature of an app is its content. As the PATH Foundation app is for informational purposes, we made sure to embed all of the content and organize it into different features that are easy for users to find and utilize.
Here are a few of the most valuable features throughout the PATH Foundation app:
PATH Trails
Perhaps the most important feature in the mobile app is the “Trails” tab. Once clicked on, the trails tab will take you to another page menu with information about curated trail experiences, trail maintenance, trail etiquette, and even a place to submit trail photos and videos for other community members to see. This feature can allow Atlanta locals and visitors alike to have directions through trails or discover new outdoor spaces they otherwise would not know about. Beyond just the trail maps, you can find routes that show you how to get to breweries, local markets, and waterfalls!
About PATH Foundation
The About tab is another feature on the PATH Foundation app that can be extremely useful to users. This feature shares the PATH Foundation story and mission as well as its staff and board of directors.
This is a great feature for users who may not be familiar with the organization or are trying to learn more about what they do. On this tab, you can learn about how PATH Foundation got started, what its organizational goals are, and see the faces behind the incredible project.
Donate to PATH Foundation
On the PATH Foundation app, there is also a feature embedded that allows you to donate to the organization to aid in its efforts to continue building trails and green spaces around the metropolitan Atlanta area. You can even make donations that are in honor or memory of a friend or family member!
The best thing about it? The process is incredibly simple. All you have to do is click “Make A Donation,” and then add your email, the amount you want to contribute, and submit your donation! This is a great way to support a local organization as well as the overall landscape of your city.
PATH Foundation History
Path Foundation was started in 1991 when three cyclers were discontent with Atlanta’s trails and sidewalk areas for bike riders. They all valued the off-road trails they had experienced in other surrounding cities, and they wanted the people in Atlanta to have that same opportunity. So, they decided to pursue this idea and begin developing greenway trails throughout the Atlanta area with the help of donations and community funding.
Now in 2022, over three decades later, PATH Foundation is still building trails and expanding on the outdoor spaces of Atlanta. Their team is filled with knowledgeable staff and consultants that plan, design, and build all of these incredible trail projects. Their efforts will only continue to grow in importance, and their new mobile app will be a great tool to help them along the way.
