Overview

The Challenge
The North Charleston Chamber plays a key role in connecting the local business community, but like many organizations, they were competing for attention in an increasingly crowded digital space. The goal wasn’t just to “be active on social,” but to turn Facebook and Instagram into meaningful channels that could increase event participation, strengthen community engagement, and support long-term membership growth.

The Insight
People don’t engage with organizations — they engage with stories, people, and experiences. The Chamber’s greatest asset is its members and its role in the local business ecosystem. Social media needed to function as a digital front door to the Chamber, a storytelling platform for local businesses, and a consistent promotional engine for events and programs.

The Strategy
We built a two-platform ecosystem with clear roles:

  • Facebook focused on reach, traffic, and event promotion
  • Instagram focused on engagement, visual storytelling, and community connection

Content centered around four pillars:

  • Event promotion and recaps
  • Member spotlights and business highlights
  • Community updates and Chamber initiatives
  • Clear calls-to-action driving traffic to event pages and resources

The goal was simple: make the Chamber feel active, valuable, and worth being part of.

The Execution
Throughout 2025, the Chamber’s social channels delivered consistent, branded, high-quality content designed to drive awareness, engagement, and action. This included event graphics, member features, carousel posts, stories, and timely community-driven content, all coordinated across Facebook and Instagram.

Every post had a purpose—whether to fill a room, spotlight a member, or reinforce the value of Chamber involvement.

This campaign helped turn the Chamber’s social media presence into a true marketing engine—driving awareness, supporting events, strengthening community connection, and contributing to measurable membership and revenue growth.
